rican Legion Post 27. He built their home on Magnolia in 1956, and lived there until his death and with his wife of 63 years. He enjoyed hunting, and piloting small aircraft. He also enjoyed golfing with friends both at Geneva and Muscatine Municipal Golf Course. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his kindness and wonderful sense of humor. Those left to honor his memory include one son, Kenneth Brower of Muscatine; one daughter, Beth Norton and husband, Brock, of Clive; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Lessenger, Angela Pestle, Chase Brower, Leah Brower, Jennifer Medina, Alexa Norton, and Landry Norton; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Myron O. Brower of Scottsdale, Arizona. The family would like to give a special thanks to Ron and Deb Streger, Mick and Shirley Hagermann, Sandy Nietzel, Val Congdon, and the Trinity Home Care and Hospice Staff. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, one son, George M. Brower; and one sister, Dona Minton.
