Julanne Marie LeBoeuf, 90, of Marquette, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 11, 2021 at the Norlite Nursing Center shortly after being admitted. Julanne was born February 5, 1931 in Escanaba, a daughter of the late Gustav Algot and Ruth (Peterson) Erickson. She was a 1948 graduate of Bark River High School. After graduation, Julanne was employed as a secretary by Bark River Harris School. On February 26, 1949, Julanne married Jerome LeBoeuf in Powers, Michigan. Thereafter they relocated to Iron Mountain where she worked for the Michigan Bell Telephone Company. In 1960 upon moving to Marquette, she was employed as both a secretary and teller at the First National Bank, and later was employed as a secretary at the Skills Center at Northern Michigan University. Julanne was a member of St. Louis the King Catholic Church. In her free time she enjoyed sewing and traveling all across the Upper Peninsula and Florida. They spent over 42 years wintering in Florida. Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Jerome A. of Trilby, FL; grandchildren, Kevin (Danielle) LeBoeuf, Melissa (Randy) Lehtomaki, Jerry (Meghan Berka) LeBoeuf, Laura LeBoeuf, Tia (Aaron) Donaldson, and Tony LeBoeuf; six great grandchildren; brother, Leonard Erickson and sister, Evelyn Gagne both of Harris, MI; also several nieces and nephews. The LeBoeuf family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, November 17 at St. Louis the King Catholic Church beginning at 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Glenn Theoret officiating. Entombment will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Louis the King Council #6447 Knights of Columbus or to the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans Activities Fund, 425 Fisher Street, Marquette, MI 49855 in Mrs. LeBoeuf's memory.
