nd a Combat Infantry Badge. He attended St. Joseph's College, and then graduated from the U of Penn School of Dental Medicine. He completed a residency in Oral Surgery at Kings County Hospital before returning to Penn for his postgraduate degree in Periodontology. He joined the staff at Penn Dental School in 1957 where he proudly taught thousands of dentists before retiring in 2002. He was a researcher, administrator and teacher who soundly contributed to the betterment of his specialty. He was a moral compass for the family and lived a life that was simple and honorable. God, family and education were of paramount importance. He was an accomplished pianist even though he never learned to read music. He enjoyed his summers in Avalon and dinners with family.
