Barbara Dorsett Bottoms

Barbara Dorsett Bottoms passed away surrounded by her family at her home on December 1, 2021 after an extended illness. She was comforted by her faith in Jesus Christ. She was a beautiful, kind and fun-loving lady who loved to travel, especially to the beach, and spend time with her family at every available chance. A wonderful mother, our confidant, and friend to many people, she always loved to have fun and loved to laugh. "Granny" welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. She never saw a convertible that she didn't want to ride in with the top down and never lost the love of the breeze in her hair and the enjoyment of life's small pleasures. Her biggest treasures were her children and grandchildren. She was excited to learn that she had a great grandchild on the way. She will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents Max & Vera Dorsett, her brother-in law, William Mobley and her niece, Donna Ferguson. Lynn Bottoms of Cumming Ga and her siblings, Sarah Mobley, Tony (Nancy) Dorsett, and Gary (Barbara) Dorsett, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and other extended family. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 4, at 12:00 p.m. at Silver City Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Davis and Rev. Harold Bottoms officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 3:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
