Trapper devoted much of his life to the care of the mentally-challenged and worked for Siouxland Residential Care facility until his retirement in August, 2010. Trapper was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed nature to it's fullest. He spent many years walking the Loess Hills and other areas of Northwest Iowa trapping, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his long-time companion, Joyce Harrison and her family. He is survived by one brother, Whitey Law of Yankton, SD; Joyce Harrison of Kingsley and his "adopted" family, Susan (Dean) Dyke of Sidney, Kathy (Chuck) Sherwood of Aurelia, Vicky Schuldt of Sioux City, Jodie (Duane) Leekley of Westfield, Jack (Rita) Harrison of Sloan, Cindy (Roy) Auen of Deweese, NE, Sherri Harrison of Britt, Laurie (Mike) Mitchell of Concord, NE, Tracy (Mike) Kerns of Oelwein and Tammi (Dale) Dickman of Spencer; as well as 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Nicholas, Charles and David; and 1 sister, Marie.
