Larry Bowdre MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Larry D. Bowdre, 70, of Muscatine, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011, at his home in Muscatine. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2011, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Following the service a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Community Room. A memorial fund has been established in Larry's name. Larry Dale Bowdre was born on August 8, 1940, in Columbus City, the son of Darrel and Gayle Teel Bowdre. He was united in marriage to Jane Linaberry and they later divorced. Larry will be deeply missed by four sons, Daniel Bowdre and wife, Donna, of Davenport, David Bowdre and special friend, Wanda Poston, of Bearcreek, Missouri, Daryl Bowdre and wife, Heather, of Muscatine, and Dale Bowdre of Fulton, Missouri; six grandchildren, Steven and Jennifer Briske, Holly, Mike and Michelle Bowdre and Jacob Bowdre; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Randy Bowdre and special friend, Jeanie, of Wapello; and one sister, Zella May Brown of Burlington.
