Tracey Anderson, 58, of Glenwood, IA passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood with Pastor Kimberly Bowles officiating. Visitation with the family present will be held one hour prior to the funeral beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Tracey was born on May 28 1963 in Creston, IA, one of four sons born to Daniel Micheal and Dorothy Arlene (Perrin) Anderson. He grew up in several small towns in Iowa, graduating from Glenwood High School in 1982. Tracey worked as sales rep for Peels Beauty Supply in Omaha, NE for many years. Tracey and Mary Kathleen Royer were united in marriage on November 12, 1982 in Glenwood. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Zachary and Alexa. The couple divorced in 2011. enjoyed grilling out and riding his Harley. Tracey loved baking, especially making cakes. In his younger years, he served as a soccer coach and referee. Tracey was preceded in death by his parents; and son Zachary Anderson. Tracey is survived by his daughter Alexa Anderson of Glenwood; brothers, Danny "Rocky" Anderson and wife Shari of Griswold, IA, Rodney Anderson of Massena, IA, and Kelley Anderson of Glenwood; other relatives; and a host of friends.
