r of the United Methodist Church at Oakville, having been a Sunday school teacher and served on most of the church offices. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau. He was very active in the Boy Scouts, having been a leader and a scoutmaster and served as the Council president. He took his Scouts to the National Jamboree in 1957. Ralph loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He played baseball during high school and several years beyond as semipro. His family includes his wife, Esther Brown; his three children, Robert "Bob" Brown and wife, Mary, of Oakville, Wayne Brown and wife, Jo, of Stanwood; and Barbara Caparoon and husband, Wayne, of Dallas City, Illinois; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded by death by his parents; four sisters; and one brother.
