James A. Beimborn

James A. Beimborn Jim Beimborn, of Port Washington, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was 66 years old. Jim was born in Port Washington on June 4, 1945, son of Alex and Erna Anschuetz Beimborn. He grew up in Port Washington and attended Port Washington High School where he was an active basketball player, graduating in 1963. After graduating from high school, Jim continued to play basketball with the Port Washington Lakers. He also started working for Ozaukee County as an equipment operator, retiring after over 35 years of service. Jim was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton, a charter member of the Snow Runners Snowmobile Club, and also the McDonald's Coffee Club. He loved riding his motorcycle, currently a blue Honda Gold Wing, and traveled extensively on his motorcycle, visiting every state. Jim also enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan and in Canada, snowmobiling, and watching his niece and nephews compete in sports. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28th at 7 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton with Rev. Kenton Wendorf officiating. Burial will take place in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28th at the CHURCH from 4-7 PM. Memorials suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family.
