Marian Lillian DeBano

Marian DeBano Marian DeBano, age 88 years of Saukville died Sunday afternoon, July 31, 2011 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon. She was born October 1, 1922 in Yorksville, WI, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Osmann Hackl. She attended Spencerian Business College in Milwaukee. On July 6, 1946, she married Lawrence DeBano at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville. He preceded her in death in 1997, shortly after the couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Marian was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish and sang in the choir for 72 years. She was an avid golfer and was a member of the Hawthorne Honeys for many years. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and gardening. She was also a member of Saukville American Legion Post 470 Auxiliary. Survivors include her children Christine DeBano of New York City and Rick (Mary Beth) DeBano of Oregon WI, and three grandsons Patrick, David and James. She was preceded in death by her brother John Hackl.
