CATHERINE ELLIOTT MUSCATINE, Iowa - Catherine Lucille Elliott, 97, of Muscatine, died on Monday, August 15, 2011, at the All-American Care Center. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2011, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Tom Parrott will officiate. Casket bearers will be Eric Elliott, Nicholas Elliott, Christopher Roush, Korey Burmeister, Josh Mosier, Trent Herman, and Matthew Grosjean. A time of food and fellowship will follow the committal service at Trinity Episcopal Church. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2011, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Keith Elliott. Catherine was born on July 30, 1914, in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of George L. and Ammie D. Detrick Wilson. She married John M. Elliott on December 24, 1934, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1987. She was proud to have served as a veteran of the US Army during World War II. Survivors include one son, Keith Elliott and wife, Debra, of Muscatine; three daughters, Linda S. Burmeister and husband, Keith, of Cassville, Wisconsin, Carolyn Roush and husband, Jerry, of Muscatine, and Cynthia Salek and husband, Robert, of St. Louis, Missouri; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one grandson, Jonathon Grosjean; one brother, Dale Wilson; and one sister, Hilda B. Richardson.
