Stephen R. Morgan

Stephen R. Morgan 65 ( formerly of Franklin) of Reynoldsburg, Ohio died at home Saturday August 13, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was born in Chico, California the son of Ben and Edith (Clevenger) Morgan. Steve formerly was employed by CG & E/Cinergy in Gas operations retiring in 1998. He graduated from Franklin H.S. in 1963 and then attended Miller-Draughton College and later Ohio State University from 1965 to 1969 where he also played freshman baseball. He was active as a Youth Soccer coach and also was Past President of Franklin Evening Optimist. He is survived by his wife, Jackie, two children, Kelly (Melanie) Morgan and Stephanie (Brian) Stoflinsky. He also leaves 3 grandchildren, Cole, Riley and Morgan. Steve also leaves his mother in law, LaVern Coleman, sisters and brothers in law, Fay and Stephen Warner, Carol and Ronald Coleman, Cathie and Rick Hicks, Walt Coleman, Laurie Coleman and special friend, Debbie Fields. He also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews, and two lifelong friends who were more than cousins, Rupert Ruppert and Paul Ruppert.
