Michael Turnell

Mike was 51 at the time of his passing. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Davis and his 2 brothers, Jeff and Daniel. Mike was born in Belton Missouri on July 19, 1970 to Rebecca and Donald Turnell. Mike will be cremated and a private family service will be arranged. We ask that anyone wanting to send flowers or donations to make those donations to a charity of your choice in his name. Mike will be fondly remembered and missed by his family, friends and his furry companions Fatty (aka Ligaya) and Troublemaker (aka Houdini). He was a quiet and shy person but made good quality friends. If he called you a friend, that was high praise from him. Mike was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends, neighbors and anyone who needs it. He was ready to give his opinion on any subject, but always spoke softly and respectfully. He was a man of few needs and derived happiness from the small, simple things in life. He was a gentle giant with an easy smile on his face and quick to share his joy and amusement. He was a tinkerer, big idea planner and animal lover. He was a smart, stubborn, wisecracking, charming smartass who danced true to his own groove every day of his life. ...[more]
