Raymond John Shea (Ray Shea), age 55, of Colorado Springs, passed away December 23, 2021. Ray was born on November 1st, 1966 in Bronxville, New York. He attended high school at Canon City High School and went on to pursue his dreams after that. He had many careers over his life including musician, lawn care company, pool cleaning company, music retail, and real estate. During his time as a realtor at RE/MAX Properties and RE/MAX Real Estate Group he won many awards and accolades including Circle of Legends 2020, Hall of Fame 2005, Lifetime Achievement 2010, Titan Club 2019 & 2020, and Diamond Club 2021. He has been with the love of his life for the last 14 years. He was a man who loved spending time with his 4 daughters and 2 grandsons, they truly brought him joy. He was actively involved in many local charities - The Children's Hospital, TESSA of Colorado Springs, The Sisters of Carmel, and The Misfit Crew Sanctuary. He was passionate about his love for Jesus Christ and it showed through his giving and beautiful smile. r mother Kari Shea, his grandchildren; Tristan Riggen and Elliott Riggen, his mother; Margaret Shea, his siblings; Dawn Shea Medina and family, Karen Shea-Griffin and family, and Kevin Shea and family, and his long time business partner Leann Hatchett and family. And a host of many more loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Shea; as well as loving Aunts, Uncles, and friends. A celebration of life will be held at The Pinery on the Hill on Sunday March 6th, 2022, from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Please stop by anytime that afternoon to help us celebrate the life of this amazing man. For memorial donations the family is asking that you donate to one of the charities loved by Ray in honor of him: The Children's Hospital Colorado Springs, TESSA of Colorado Springs, The Sisters of Carmel, or The Misfit Crew Sanctuary.
