Anna Marie Bissell Andersen
Anna Marie Bissell Andersen, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend was born in Payson Utah on August 17, 1927. She was the sixth of ten children born to Maurice J and Flora Houser Bissell. She attended Peteetneet Grade School, graduated from Payson Utah Jr. High, Payson High School and Nebo Stake LDS Seminary. Anna married Horace LeRoy Andersen on August 9, 1946 and their marriage was later sealed in the Manti Temple. Anna is the proud mother of seven children Cathy (Russ) Thornock, Connie Faulkner, John (Camille) Andersen, Mary Carol (Michael) Bernard, Patsy (Paul) Pehrson, David (Alanah) Andersen, and Debra (Ben) Brewer. She was also blessed with 60 grandchildren, 125 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild. She is survived by her sister Barbara (Harry) Collard and her brother Lynn Bissell. w Brewer and Mark (Stormi) Gray. She was an active member of the LDS Church and held many church callings in Relief Society, Primary and Mutual. She was the first Stake Primary President in Deer Valley AZ Stake. Along with her husband, she served five missions for the Church and was an ordinance worker in the Mesa Temple for several years. Anna will be buried next to her husband in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
