Heather Wolff passed away, aged 45, on January 26, 2022.
Born in Kokomo, Indiana, Heather spent the majority of her life in Western Washington. She graduated from Curtis High School in 1994, before beginning college at Washington State University. In 1995, she gave birth to a daughter (Beatrice), followed by a son in 1999 (James).
Heather spent twenty years of her professional career in the animal care industry, working as a Veterinary Technician for a number of different Vet Hospitals, before finding her dream vocation working at the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center. Her true passion in life was helping animals of all shapes and sizes. This extended to her professional and home lives, as she also fostered a plethora of dogs and cats from 2015 until her passing.
2015 was the year Heather left Washington State to move to Tucson, Arizona. Her future husband, David Tangren, attended law school at the University of Arizona before they were married on October 24, 2020.
Heather was a kind-hearted soul, always willing to help a friend no matter the circumstances, especially if an animal needed help. Her generosity, humor, and love for all creatures will be sorely...[more]

She is survived by her daughter, son, husband, and a baby granddaughter, born in 2021.
