Patricia Jean Howard Nix St Leger
Patricia (Pat) Jean Howard Nix St Leger, 86, passed away on January 30, 2022 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born February 2, 1935 in Frederick, Oklahoma to Ruth and William (Bill) S Howard. She married Bobby Wayne Nix on July 3, 1953 in Borger, Texas after graduating from Borger High School. Pat worked at Phillips Petroleum during the day and attended Frank Phillips Junior College at night. They moved to Los Angeles California in 1955, where they had 3 children, Janet Susan, Sharon Kay, and Robert Raymond. After having children, she worked part time doing secretarial work for various companies. She also attended San Fernando Valley State College, now California State University at Northridge. Her main focus was raising her 3 children and attending to their needs. In 1976, a corporate merger brought the family to Phoenix, Arizona. After Pat's first marriage, she found love again with James St. Leger. They were happily married from 1986 until his death May 1, 2006. r. She was an excellent cook and lavished her family with wonderful meals bringing everyone great joy. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jim. Pat is survived by her children, Janet Brockman (husband David Frey), Sharon Shikles, and Robert Nix; Niece and Nephews Jennifer Scherkenback (husband Tim), Michael Collins (wife Panisa), Sandra Velde (husband Brandon); Grandchildren Kimberly Workman, Thomas Brockman, Ryan Shikles, Tegan Hidde, and Paris Nix; Great-Grandchildren Blake and Destiny Workman and Abeigail Hidde. Services will be held Friday February 11, 2022 at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel in Scottsdale, Arizona with Visitation at 10:00am, the Memorial Service at 11:00am.
