Debra Carol Maia

Debra "Debbie" Carol Maia, [50], of Ocala, FL: wife, grandmother of four, mother of two, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend of many sadly passed away in the early hours of February 5th, 2022. She left this world peacefully at West Marion Community Hospital lovingly surrounded by her husband, sons and daughter-in-law. Debbie was born on December 18th, 1971 to Millard and Janice Crisp in Ashland, KY. Debbie and family relocated to Ocala, Fl. in 1978 and she graduated from Dunnellon High School in 1990. We will remember Debbie for her humor, her contagious laughter, and her occasional, endearing stubbornness. Debbie was married to her beloved husband Luis Maia for 31 years and they had two sons. In her free time, Debbie enjoyed crafts and word games. More than anything, she loved spending time with her four grandchildren. She doted on them every minute and couldn't wait to tell them how much she loved them, shower them with hugs, and make them giggle. Debbie was predeceased by her parents, Millard and Janice, and sister Terri as well as her beloved cat of 19 years. At her request, there will be no memorial service or funeral by her immediate family.
