Betty Taylor

Betty Lois Taylor, age 91, of Quincy, died Friday, February 18, 2022, at 2:21 am in her home. Betty was born February 3, 1931 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Lawrence Edward and Marie Arnold. She married William L. Taylor on July 7, 1948 in Quincy, Illinois. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2015. She worked at Motorola as a supervisor until they closed down. Afterwards, she worked at Broadcast Electronics until her retirement. Betty was an avid reader of romance novels. She loved to quilt, tend to her vegetable and flower gardens, and crochet. Betty loved using her iPad to look up recipes and watch cooking shows and animal videos. She was an exceptionally good cook. Betty was devoted to her family, and she loved attending as her grandchildren's sporting events. When her grandsons were young she was practically the family taxi.
