Monica L. Elsen, 75, of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday, February 27, 2022 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Monica is survived by her children, Mike Witham of Pomeroy and Brenda (Mike) Trevis of Humboldt; grandchildren, Jacob (Amanda) Rosalez of Cedar Rapids and their children, Jeremiah, Hannah, and Norah, Danielle (Cord) Rosalez of Fort Dodge and their children, Tayton, Tyson, Talon, and Rielle, Alicia (Nate) Williams of Des Moines and their son, Benson, Michael Trevis of Emmetsburg, Joe Trevis (Maddison) and their children Ashlynn, Jordynn, and Gracelynn of Humboldt, Earl (Emmie) Witham of Lawrence, KS, Emma (Alex) Pliner of Fort Dodge and their son, Deacon, Else Witham, Ezek Witham, and Edyn Witham all of Fort Dodge; and sisters, Mary Vaudt of Humboldt, Celeste Jamieson of Phoenix, AZ, and Annette Crouse of Des Moines; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Doris (Marlas) Ehrhardt and siblings Dick Ehrhardt, Wanda Mosley, Ralph Ehrhardt, Paul Ehrhardt, Barbara Hellickson, Irene Hilbert, Beulah Taylor, and Carolyn Weber....[more]

onica Lee Ehrhardt was born June 17, 1946 in Livermore, IA. She attended and graduated from Twin Rivers. Monica worked at Friendship Haven for over 20 years, retiring in 2002. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She loved to play cards with here friends weekly. She also enjoyed going to garage sales and shopping. Monica was devoted to her family and was a true gem. She will be deeply missed by all. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
