BRIAN L. NEILS Mr. Brian Neils, of Mequon Road in Mequon, passed away unexpectedly at his home in the evening hours of Thursday, October 6, 2011. He was 59 years old. Brian was born in Milwaukee on September 24, 1952, son of Edward and Mary Koehn Neils. He attended local schools and then started a career at Telsmith Inc., at the age of 18. He remained there for 32 years. Brian was united in marriage with Carol Klemmetsen Stenson on April 4, 2000, in Lake Tahoe. The couple settled in Mequon. Brian later began work as a fabricator at Super Sky Products in Mequon. Brian was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing as well as gardening. While at home, he loved playing with his dogs and cooking. Spending time with his grandsons was also a favorite pastime of his. Mr. Neils was an innovator who was constantly building things, and he loved to help others. He is survived by his loving wife and hunting partner Carol, of Mequon, his step-children Chad (Jackie) Stenson of Sheboygan and Kari (Todd) Miller of Grafton, and his four loving grandsons: Lucas, Benjamin, Thomas and Hudson. eidenaur of Belgium, Dawn Neils of Milwaukee, Linda (special friend Jim) Neils of the Town of Belgium, and Jill (the late Geoffrey) Vine of Milwaukee, mother-in-law Louise Clark of Denver, CO, sisters- and brothers-in-law Linda (Rob) William of Denver, Dale (Victoria) Klemmetsen, also of Denver, and Barb (Tommie) Maxwell of Northglenn, CO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Brian is preceded in death by his father. Funeral Services will be held at 7PM on Monday, October 10th, at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg. Rev. Kristina Henning will officiate the service.
