Rita J. Tarmann

Age 72 of Toluca, IL, died on October 17, 2011 at the Heartland Care Center in Henry, IL. Rita was born June 4, 1939, the daughter of Harry E. and the late Doris M. Cofoid. She was a proud 1957 graduate of Tonica High School. On November 1, 1958, she was united in marriage to Wayne M. Tarmann. Rita will be remembered as a loving wife, giving mother and homemaker for her family. Rita will be deeply missed by her husband of 52 years, Wayne; her five sons, Joel (Kim) Tarmann of Minonk, Clark (Dianne) Tarmann of Minonk, Timothy (Darla) Tarmann of Cambridge, MN, Todd Tarmann of Seattle, WA and Eric (Sherry) Tarmann of Toluca; grandchildren, Kelby Tarmann, Kinsly Tarmann, Kyron Tarmann, Patrick Tarmann, Kristine Tarmann, Jennith (Joe) Poferl, Dane Tarmann, Maranda Tarmann and Jerica Tarmann; great grandson, Jasper Timothy Poferl; father, Harry Cofoid; brother, Dr. Paul (Pam) Cofoid; sister Lisa (Bob) Miller; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM on Thursday, October 20th at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 336 West Fourth Street, Minonk, IL.
