With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Mitchell Steckler, age 31 of Austin, Texas. Mitch passed unexpectedly at his home February 25th, 2022. Mitch will be missed by so many and leaves behind his family, parents Ken and Laurel, older brother Travis and sister in-law Katie and younger sister Tessa. Those who knew Mitch, even just a little lost a shining light in their lives. He touched so many in his short life. He was a loving a caring person in his personal and professional life. Mitch grew up in Beaverton, Oregon and was very active in sports, his favorites being soccer and snowboarding. He graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Economics - Summa Cum Laude in 2013. Mitch was very successful in his profession of tech sales. Mitch loved the beach and had the chance to live in Newport Beach and San Diego California before moving to Austin to be closer to his brother and sister in-law, Katie. He also loved to travel and spent time in Europe and Central America. Since his death, so many have written about how special he was and how fortunate they were to have known him.
