RICKY LYN COZAD WHITNEY, Texas - Ricky Lyn Cozad, 63, formerly of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Fruitland Community Center. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com. Ricky was born on December 14, 1958, in Muscatine, the son of Bill Joe Cozad and Betty Cozad Browning. He married Lora Doyle (Small) in 1983, in Muscatine. They later divorced. He was a lifelong construction worker and a jack of all trades. Ricky left Muscatine, Iowa back in 1995 and found his new home to be in the warm state of Texas. He liked to remind the rest of us Iowans that he did not miss Iowa winters. Rick loved Texas and it was truly his home. He was a story teller by nature and enjoyed all things outdoors. Rick liked to boat, fish, camp, and spend time with his friends and family.
