Tonya Kimberly Anderson, 50, of Rushford, MN died on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN surrounded by her loved ones. Tonya Leonard was born on February 1, 1972, in Madison, WI to Dick and Connie (Pulsfus) Leonard. She was raised in Waunakee, WI and was a 1990 graduate of Waunakee High School. She attended Winona State University and later received her certification as a Medical Administrative Assistant from Minnesota State College Southeast in Winona, MN. She is survived by her three wonderful children: Nicholas (Nick), Madeline (Maddy) and Devin Anderson; her parents, Dick and Connie Leonard; a sister, Michelle (Greg) Leyer; and fiancé, Steve Hanson. Tonya is also survived by her former husband, Jon Anderson, the father of her children. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Clarence and Jeannette Pulsfus and Russell and Margaret Leonard. Tonya was a very caring person. She loved her children dearly and had a soft heart for animals of all types. Her favorite hobbies would include spending time in the outdoors, baking, and gardening.
