Thomas "Tom" J. Brandow

A memorial service for Tom will be held at a later date. Thomas Joseph Brandow, 63, of Algona, IA was born April 17, 1958 and lived most of his life in Algona. Anyone who knew Tom knew of his very dry sense of humor and that he'd always manage to slip into the conversation when you least expected it! Tom was very private, fiercely independent, witty and at times quite the mischievous prankster. He enjoyed antiques especially those linked to family history. His love of fishing was well known and he never lived down the time that all he caught was a boot! Tom had been battling cancer for quite some time and was in hospice at the Algona Hospital before the Lord called him Home March 18, 2022. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Ellsworth (Eugene) and Eleanor Brandow. Left to cherish his memory are his precious son, Beau, of Deadwood, SD and his grandchildren: Landen, Lacie and Liam.
