Ronald M. "Ron" Ethier, 67, of Woonsocket, died April 22, 2022 in his home, surrounded by his family, after a hard and courageous fight with cancer. He was the husband of Beverly (Elias) Ethier, whom he married May 18, 1991. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Antonio Ethier, Sr. and Vivian (Desilets) Ethier. Ron was a machinist by trade, and also worked as a maintenance mechanic. He was happiest enjoying a cup of coffee on his swing in the front yard, feeding the birds. Ron was an amazing woodworker - he could take a piece of wood, and make anything one could think of with it. He enjoyed yard-saling, and refurbishing his finds. Ron was a jokester, and would always make others laugh, even when he was feeling his worst. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. cksotne, MA, and Jean Ethier of Woonsocket; five grandchildren, Desiree, Jaya, Emalee, Madison, and Mia; his furbabies, Dean and Gabby; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 beginning with visitation from 9-11 AM, followed by a service at 11 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham.
