She is survived by her children, Tim (Shannon) Gross, Kyle (Maggie) Samsel, & Danielle (Eric Demorest) Samsel; father, Thomas Christopher, Jr.; grandchildren, Eliana Gross, Jaxon Gross, Dominic Samsel, Anna Samsel, Mia Samsel, Eric Demorest, Jr.; siblings, Thomas Christopher, III & Josephine (Kevin) Gross; several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends. Britton Road and went on to high school at Greece Arcadia. Rita was adventurous, charming, caring, compassionate, and fun. She worked at Wegmans and attended both Lakeshore Community Church and St. Charles Borromeo Church. In her free time, Rita enjoyed horseback riding, collaging pictures, swimming, and spending time with her animals (cats; Sergio and Mitsy, and dogs; Gemini and Angel). She loved animals and would take care of any she came across. Rita was also a fan of Christian Music, Alanis Morrissette, Law and Order, and Cops. Rita's children were the most important part of her life. Tim, Kyle, and Danielle are her legacy and the people who touched her life the most. Rita was a free spirit who inspired people with her kindness and sense of adventure.
