Curtis M. Crawford

Curtis M. Crawford, born in St. Louis, Michigan, February 22, 1936, passed away in Phoenix, AZ May 13, 2022. He graduated from ASU in 1958 and earned Masters Degree in 1986. After graduation he served in the Army for three years. He worked with his father in his Tempe furniture store and went on to work for Barrows Furniture from 1978 to 2000. Upon Barrows closure, he established his own furniture store, building it to seven locations. He and Lucille traveled extensively and enjoyed, with their families, 10 years in Coronado, California. He is survived by his wife Lucille; three children, Laurie Ashley, Michael Crawford (Julie), Stan Colgate (Michelle); three step-children, Craig Bolze (Diane), Eric Bolze (Eileen), Leslie Curiel. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandson, Shane Ashley. His service will be held privately for family members at the Veterans National Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
