friends. Once he was home, he didn't like going out, but he was a welcoming and generous host. Your drink was always full and no one ever left their home hungry. Linda passed away in December 2012. Kevin welcomed Jeanie Kolln Goslar into his life, and they were married in Des Moines on February 26, 2022. Jeanie was Kevin's constant companion and dedicated caregiver, providing him loving support during his battle with cancer. In his final days, Kevin's spirits were lifted greatly by visits from family, reminiscing with friends and seeing his grandchildren. He took time to think about all the places he'd been and all the people he met, sharing those recollections with those around him. Constants throughout his life were Peterbilt, John Deere and Merle Haggard. He could rarely identify people in old photos but he could always tell you the make and model of the car or tractor in the background, and who owned it. Preceding Kevin in death were his beloved Linda, at the age of 62; his parents; and his parents-in-law, Wilbur and Betty Marth Kuhlmann; Jeanie's parents, Ray and Melba (Winsor) Kolln and her sister, Monica.
