MCINTYRE, Elena "Helen", Age 85, departed this life in Dearborn, Michigan on Wednesday, June 02, 2022 . Helen was born in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Pedro "Pete and Jessie Cardona. Helen was spiritual and loved to cook and volunteer for the YMCA, in which she cared for the disabled. Helen is the beloved mother of Robert McIntyre, Jr. and grandmother of Bryan, Jeffrey, Jessica, Christopher, Angel, Robert, Maria, Randy, Joshua, Tiffany, Sarah and Brittany. Helen is the cherished great grandmother of twenty-two and loving sister of Mary Minear, Laura Longhorn, Susie Hart, and Lowley "Raul" Cardona. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Robert McIntyre, Sr., two children Christopher McIntyre and Christine Mays as well as two brothers Pedro "Pete" and Jessie Cardona. Helen loved her family and will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing Monday, June 13, 2022 10:00am until 2:00pm (11:30am Rosary Service) at Chas. Verheyden Funeral Home (Don Graham Chapel) 7100 Michigan Ave. Detroit, Michigan 48210 with an 11:30am Rosary Service.
