Beverly J. Norwood, 81, of Hartford City died on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Beverly was born on August 5, 1940, in Connersville, PA, daughter of the late Alexander E. and Anna J. (Hyatt) Sklenar. Beverly graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1957. Beverly married William Devine. After William's death she married Sam Norwood who also preceded her in death. Beverly retired from general tire. She enjoyed playing computer games. Beverly was always on the go doing things for her children or activities at Hartford City Grace Unite Methodist Church, where she was a member. Beverly's survivors include five children, Billie J. Pogue, Fairmount, Robert J. (Cheryl) Devine, Hartford City, Alex E. Devine, Summitville, Barbara J. Seward, Fairmount, and Brenda J. Morgan, Marion; three step children; Sammy Norwood, Diane Norwood, and Jeff Norwood 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; and her faithful companion Scarlett.
