David Frank Benda (66), passed away on Saturday, July 30th, 2022 at Mayo Clinic with his daughters by his side. David was born in Chicago, IL, to Ella and George Benda. Beloved husband of Vicki Benda, sharing together 41 beautiful years of marriage. Loving father of Amy (Roy, the son he never had) Lewis and Jillian Benda. Cherished grandpa to Lexus, Bentley, Spike and Maggie; his 4-legged grandbabies. Treasured Brother-In-Law to Joleen (Richard, the brother he was blessed with through marriage) Wahlberg. Dear brother of Patricia (Bob) Ragan. Also survived by his loving and loyal companion, Diesel the Chihuahua. David made anyone who knew him smile. He was an exceptional provider for his family working over 40 years in the automotive industry; where he made a profound impact on many colleagues and friends. David had a passion for classic cars and fish tanks; but most of all, his passion was his family. Throughout his entire life, David made his family his number one priority. He loved his girls so fiercely and always was there to be a sounding board, always showing grace and compassion; for them both as children and adults. The love that David and Vicki shared was a testimony of love that knows no bounds. They both walked together hand in hand, loving each other unconditionally through all of life's peaks and valleys. Now they both are driving around heaven in The Judge GTO laughing and reminiscing, free of pain; in the magnificent presence of Jesus. The family will receive friends at Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery, Scottsdale on Monday, August 8th for viewing 3pm-8pm.
