Kervin Keaton

Kervin Keaton was born April 13, 1957 in Archer, Florida to Ollie Swain and Jack Keaton. He moved to Omaha in 2007 where he met the love of his life Bertha Taylor. Kervin enjoyed playing chess and shooting pool. He also loved to connect with the family by playing cards. You could always find him enjoying his great grandkids which was his favorite past time. Kervin passed on August 1, 2022 at the age of 65. He was at home surrounded by the ones he loved. His laugh and light will be missed but the memories he left will live on. Kervin is preceded in death by his mother Ollie Swain; father Jack Keaton; and 10 sisters. He is survived by his love Bertha Taylor; son Kentay Haigins; step daughter Deborah Taylor; sisters Beverly Taliaferro, Sarah Branton, Patty (Roosevelt) Morgan, Althea (Dan) Pontoon, Lindly King; one brother Charles Pillman; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.[more]
