the Pastor while vising nursing homes and played the piano for hymn requests from residents. Her love of family ran very deep. She would make almost yearly trips back to Minnesota and Iowa to be with family. Her love of long conversations on the phone were well known to family. Nancy's passion and love of music was deep. She began piano lessons at an early age and played clarinet in high school. She was a very accomplished pianist and gave lessons to many children. Some of the children were Hmong refugees, and she refused payment from them. She was deeply dedicated to teaching young children and many of them kept in contact with her when they grew into adulthood. Nancy loved to travel to places within the USA. She and her good friend and fellow teacher, Sandy McFarlin, traveled to several countries of Europe, the Mediterranean area, Thailand and Mexico. Nancy was married to Norman Nelson on January 6th, 2018. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Gladys Bohach. Her older brother Neil and sister-in-law Betty. Her husband Norman Nelson. Her niece Kristin Bohach. Her great-niece Samantha O'Connor and her great-nephew McClain Bohach. Nancy is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Ned and Bev Bohach, her sister and brother-in-law Nita and Michael Jack, and brother Nick Bohach. She also leaves behind eleven nieces and nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 10:30am at Ranfranz and Vine, Rochester Minnesota with a visitation held one hour prior to the service and a luncheon will be held after the service. Inurnment will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Rochester Minnesota.
