Leo Elton Kuehnast, 101, of Humboldt passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the Humboldt North Care Center.
Funeral services will be on held on Friday, September 9th at 1:00 PM Zion Lutheran Church, Humboldt. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, near Thor. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family.
Leo is survived by his daughter Diane Koch of Humboldt, grandson Troy Wohlers of Des Moines, great-grandchildren Jenna Wohlers of Madison, AL, Joseph Wendel of Overland Park, KS, Megan Wendel of Kansas City, KS, and Cody Felton, great-great-grandchildren Kaden Clark, Aubree Brons and Tyler Wendel, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lola in 2019, daughter Linda May Kuehnast, grandson, Trevor Wohlers, sons-in-law Robert Wohlers and James Koch, parents Edwin and Carolyn (Schneider) Kuehnast, brothers Lloyd, Roy, and Carroll, and his sister Elna.

the couple established their home on their Century Farm. Leo farmed his entire life. Leo and Lola were married for 75 years. He was member of Zion Lutheran Church in Humboldt.
