rgest computing services company in Canada. In the late 1970's, Ron returned to Calgary and joined Nu-West Development Corporation where he began his real passion, planning real estate development. Ron moved to California in 1979 where he planned the 3000-acre Wood Ranch in Simi Valley, California and later planned and developed the 2700-acre, award-winning Mountain Park Ranch in Phoenix, Arizona. Ron was a life-long athlete, playing football, rowing, skating and skiing. He continued his daily 5-mile run and voracious reading habits for many years. Always a foodie, he and Sher enjoyed fine (and not so fine) dining. For Ron, any blunder in the kitchen could be made right by a Bombay Sapphire martini, up. Later his joy was spending long, quiet summers in British Columbia where he and Sher maintained residences from the time of Ron's retirement in 1992 and where his children also resided.
