Evan James Waller

Evan James Waller, aged 27, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 in Phoenix, Arizona. Evan was born on June 13, 1995 in Brunswick, Georgia, and was the son of Eric and Tamara Waller. As a child, he lived in St. Simon's Island, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and England. After returning from England, Evan graduated from North High School's International Baccalaureate program. He then studied creative writing at the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University and graduated with a BA in English. Evan will be missed greatly. He will be remembered for his gentle nature, his quick wit, his creative mind, and a strong sense of right and wrong. Evan's passions were films, music, and books. He loved nothing more than watching a movie with family or friends, sharing his enthusiasm and analysis with them. Evan's creativity was evident in his writings. He left behind a novelette and several short stories. Evan is survived by his parents, Eric and Tamara Waller, his brothers, Jake Waller and Kurt Waller, paternal grandparents, Hugh and Patsy Waller, and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
