Virginia "Sue" Crouse, 83, of Bremerton, WA, formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at St. Michael's Medical Center in Silverdale, WA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, October 15th at 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A rosary will be prayed at 9:15 AM with visitation to follow from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM all on Saturday at the church. Virginia "Sue" is survived by her children Donna (Paul) Griffin of Ireland, David (Rosario) Crouse of Bremerton, WA, Philip (Heidi) Crouse of Waukee, IA, and Gregory (Brandy) Crouse of Bremerton, WA, brothers William T. Maas of Glendale, AZ, James L. Maas of NC, John E. Maas of Gilbert, AZ, Joseph Maas of KS, and Thomas G. Maas of AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Verena (Schmenk) Maas, husband William "Bill" in 2021, infant daughter Kristen, infant brother, brother Don, and her sisters Mary and Joanne Virginia Sue Maas was born on January 29, 1939, in Findlay, OH. The couple made their home in Arizona, Virginia, California, Germany, and then in Iowa in 1980. For 35 years Sue was an R.N. and retired in 1986, as the Director of Nursing at Quality Health Care Center. Sue was a member of Holy Trinity Church, and past member of American Nursing Association and the Iowa Nursing Association. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
