DIANE JENKINSON MUSCATINE, Iowa - Diane Katheryn Jenkinson, 63, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family. Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m., on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at First Christian Church. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the church. Pastor Alex Kindred will officiate. Luncheon will follow the service. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riding for Success. She married Steve Jenkinson on April 15, 1978, in Mount Pleasant. Diane worked at the Holiday Inn and then the Rendezvous as a banquet hostess and was a member of First Christian Church. l, she loved her grandchildren. Diane always out fished Steve. She was a caregiver and put everyone else before herself. Diane is survived by her husband, Steve Jenkinson of Muscatine; two children, Candice McGuigan and husband, Peter, of Wisconsin, and Thomas Jenkinson and wife, Beverly, of Oskaloosa; son-in-law, Jon Mall; five grandchildren, Cassie, Lily, Catheryn, Peyton, and Bryce; her mother, Darlene Holtkamp; two brothers, Larry Wear and wife, Sindy, and Dale Wear and wife, Becky; and three step-brothers, Jay Holtkamp and wife, Rhonda, Randy Holtkamp and wife, Beth, and Gary Holtkamp. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Nicole Mall in 2021; both her fathers, Douglas Wear and Arthur Holtkamp; and sister, Carolyn Graber.
