Richard worked for National Gypsum and was the man credited with locating the piece of gypsum large enough for the Cardiff Giant carving that can be found at the Fort Museum. He was awarded $200.00 for his hard work. Richard loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren of whom he was extremely proud. He loved cars and painting. His favorite color was red and let it be known if it stood still, it was getting a coat of red paint! Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
