Zimmerman, Mrs. Evangeline Dora Muskegon, Michigan Mrs. Evangeline Dora Zimmerman, age 85, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 17, 2022. She was born in Muskegon, MI on November 22, 1937 to Michael & Mamie (Dalton) Heibel and married Roy Zimmerman on January 17, 1958. She attended Muskegon Catholic Central High School. graduated from Coopersville High School and later she went to Hackley School of Nursing. Mrs. Zimmerman had been employed as a Registered Nurse for Mercy and Hackley Hospital until retiring in 1999. Evangeline had been a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She enjoyed mowing the grass, raking leaves, snow blowing and her all time favorite power tool was a chainsaw. Not many trees survived. She loved her children and grandchildren and her passion in life was spending time with them outdoors. She also loved to paint.
