Daniel Raymond Thielen

Daniel R. Thielen, 52, of Lincoln, NE, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2022. Dan was born on July 3, 1970, to Charles and Lydia Thielen in Kansas City, Mo. He graduated from Lincoln Pius X in 1988 and joined the United States Air Force, where he served stateside and overseas for five years. After his service in the military, he graduated with a degree in Electrical Technology from SCC Milford. Dan was an electrician with IBEW Local 265 for 26 years. Dan enjoyed traveling the world whenever possible, spending time with family and friends, golfing, and his dog Sammy. Dan is survived by his parents, Charles and Lydia Thielen, Lincoln, NE; brother Bill (Julie) Thielen of Lincoln, NE; nephews Jack Thielen and Nick Thielen, Lincoln, NE; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and great friends.
