Myerlyne (Monnie) Catherine Silverstein Ogg

Myerlyne (Monnie) Catherine Silverstein Ogg, at age 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Saturday, January 14, 2023, with her children nearby. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phillipians 4:13. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Myrtle (Anderson) Silverstein, of Kansas City and Myer Silverstein, of New Jersey. Monnie grew up in Kansas City, attending Paseo High School where she met her husband, Harry Owen Ogg. Monnie and Harry Owen were high school sweethearts, moved to Arizona in 1992, and married for 51 years. Known for her generosity and kindness, Monnie offered her time and talent to many organizations. A devout Catholic actively volunteering with St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, a lifelong yoga practitioner, loved sewing, her gardens, and entertaining. Monnie loved cooking for, and spending time with, her children and grandchildren, and friends.
