Maria de los Reyes Alvarez

Maria de los Reyes Alvarez departed this life on Easter Sunday, April 9 2023 during the 3 o'clock hour at Honor Health Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones as she was welcomed home into God's kingdom. Maria was born on January 6, 1960 in Mexicali, Mexico and at a young age immigrated to El Centro, California with her family. She is survived by her husband Ed , her four children Christina, Joseph, Joshua and Mark and her six grandchildren, Kaley, Autumn, Gabriel, Conner, Lyra and Roman. She is also survived by her eight bothers and sisters Marcello, Francisco, Roberto, Angelica, Gustavo, Leticia, Fernando and Alicia. Maria worked as the office manager for St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Imperial, California for over 20 years. God and family were the most important things in her life and she loved spending time with them both. A Rosary will be held at 10:30 am followed by a funeral Mass at 11 am at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Imperial, California on April 21, 2023.
