Linda Mack

Linda L. Mack, 64, of Fort Dodge passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Society, Manson. A visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Monday, June 26, 2023 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery. Linda is survived by her husband of 45 years Myron Mack of Fort Dodge and daughters, Becky Jo Mack (Jason Sorenson) of Fort Dodge and Bobbie Jo (Rafael) Arreola of Jefferson, SD; grandchildren Ashley Eddington and her daughter Aurora of Fort Dodge and Bethany Eddington of Carroll, Emma and Rafael IV Arreola of Jefferson, SD, father Bernard Dittmer and brother Michael Dittmer both of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her mother Sherry (Perry) Dittmer and brother David Dittmer. Linda Lee Dittmer was born November 15, 1958 in Iowa City, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Milo. She graduated from SE Warren High School. On May 6, 1978 she was united in marriage to Myron Mack and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. quilts. She was passionate about knitting, crocheting, and cross stitching. If there was a needle and thread Linda was there! She enjoyed playing BINGO and doing puzzles. She loved traveling, especially fishing trips to Canada where she outfished her uncle Jim by catching the biggest Northern Pike of the day! She could often be found in the kitchen canning veggies from their garden. Linda was a member of Holy Trinity Church. She was the best mom and grandma around and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
