idays and went to great lengths to entertain everyone with music, dancing, games, and sports activities. There was never a dull moment in his home, where he strove to create great memories with his loved ones. Ken was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at an early age of 62 and was determined not to let that define him. He continued running his business and even up until his last days, Ken tried his hardest to remain active and to never give up. He was a true fighter at heart. Ken was forever grateful for the health professionals and medical advances that allowed him to live so many years after his initial diagnosis with Parkinson's disease. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Susan Hyland, daughters Rebecca (Mike) Madsen, Ashley (Derek) Thrasher, Kimberly Watters, and son, Kenneth Hyland Jr., as well as nine grandchildren and five siblings, Jim, Beverly, Florence, Theresa and Tommy, and their spouses. Ken will be remembered for his Smile and his warm heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them and if you knew him, you knew it. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity and strength, and was full of love. He will be missed dearly by all. Ken's Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, July 14th at Saint Bernadette's Catholic Church, 16245 N. 60th Street, Scottsdale, AZ at 10 am.
