Micheal J. Maxwell Micheal (Mike) J. Maxwell, 73, of North Liberty, IA, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, in Iowa City, IA. A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, November 2, from 2-5 p.m. at the Coralville American Legion, 901 2nd Street, Coralville, IA. Please feel free to bring a story about Mike to share with the family. Stories will be shared at 4 p.m. Mike was born September 1, 1950, in Rockville, Ill, son of Louis and Maxine (Beiderbeck) Maxwell - both of whom preceded him in death. Mike graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1968 and received an Associate of Arts Degree from Duluth Community College in 1995. Mike was affectionately known as 'Turtle' by his friends. His interests included his cat (Marley), motorcycles, classic cars, live music, sports, and practicing all forms of art including sketching, painting, pottery, stained glass, leather work, music, and photography. Mike is also survived by his 17 great-grandchildren: Gemini, Jaspher, Harlee, Linkynn, Easton, Skylar, Reagan, Kyleigh, Jase, Sawyer, Krewden, Bearren, Jaylynn, Avalyn, Violet, Vera, and Lucy.
