40, in May 1991 setting in motion the eventual career paths for her daughters Renee and Cheryl who also became licensed cosmetologist Janet became the mentor and guiding light to her children and grandchildren. She was always involved in children's activities such as PTA, Girl Scouts, T-ball, etc. Janet also facilitated the formation of her family when she brought her daughters Renee and Cheryl to work at Laurel Lake Estates retirement home where the girls met their future husbands. Always an unpretentious person preferring "down to earth people." Some of Janet's favorite interests were needlepoint and crocheting. She learned to sew from her aunt Margaret Kerak Kateusz who was a seamstress at Kent's Mill. Above all else, Janet loved her family and will be dearly missed. Service and Interment are private at the request of the family.
