Stuart Michael Rothman

CHAPEL HILL, NC - Stuart Michael Rothman passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Hillcrest Convalescent Center, Durham, NC, after a long illness. He was 75 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Leon and Frances (née Oliver), he resided in Bordentown and East Windsor before moving to Chapel Hill, NC, 3 years ago. He was a proud alum of Lafayette High School and Brooklyn College before graduating from NYU Dental School in 1973. In 1976, he opened Drs. Rosengarten & Rothman DDS in Mercerville, NJ, where he practiced with his partner Arthur Rosengarten until his retirement in 2009. In his spare time Stuart loved to play bridge and poker, and to watch Jeopardy. He was a diehard fan of the New York Mets and New York Giants. He especially enjoyed dining out with his many longtime friends. He loved spending time with his family, where you could always find him manning the grill. He loved traveling during his retired life, especially going to the beaches of the Dominican Republic and guided tours around the world.
